OLD FASHIONED APPLE CIDER

Soft Apple Cider is a wonderful beverage to serve your Halloween guests!

The best tasting cider is 100% apple, with no water or sugar added. Cider that has been flash pasteurization offers a safer product without changing the flavor.

Every October we take a trip and visit Oak Glen, located in Southern California to buy newly picked McIntosh apples for our Candy and Carmel covered apples, and to buy fresh pressed apple cider.

If you have access to an apple orchard that presses it's own cider, we highly recommend getting cider there as opposed to the grocery store. We have never gotten a good tasting cider at a grocery store. The eastern states have an abundance of cider mills. Our family used to go to a cider mill near by every autumn to get fresh cider and doughnuts. It's a memory that I will have forever! The tastes and smells! Picking apples off the tree and taking them home so mom could whip up a fresh apple pie and can her own applesauce! That fresh apple taste would last all winter long.
